| dc.description | The article presents the results of an empirical study of the characteristics of the perception of children at the beginning and at the end of primary school age about their appearance, as well as the ideas of mothers about the appearance of their child. Established gender differences in the ideas about their external appearance in children, as well as in their mothers. Girls have a more holistic image of their external appearance, in contrast to boys. The content of ideas about their external appearance in overweight children of 9–10 years old includes dissatisfaction with their body. Mothers’ ideas about the appearance of the child are related to the age of the child. Mothers evaluate children 6–7 years old more realistically and the image of the child in the mother’s mind is more attractive than the image of a child of 9–10 years old. Mothers of most children with physical disabilities portray their children as slender, without any external bodily defects, which demonstrates the unrealism of their ideas about the body of their child and their rejection of the body of the child. | ru_RU |
| dc.description.abstract | Представлены результаты эмпирического исследования особенностей представлений детей, находящихся в начале и в конце младшего школьного возраста о своей внешности, а также представлений матерей о внешности своего ребенка. Установлены половые различия представлений о своем внешнем облике у детей, а также у их матерей. У девочек в большей степени сформирован целостный образ своего внешнего облика, в отличие от мальчиков. Содержание представлений о своем внешнем облике у детей 9–10 лет, имеющих избыточную массу тела, включает в себя неудовлетворенность своим телом. Представления матерей о внешнем облике ребенка имеет связь с возрастом ребенка. Детей 6–7 лет матери оценивают более реалистично, и образ ребенка в сознании матери более привлекательный, чем образ ребенка 9–10 лет. Матери большинства детей с особенностями физического облика изображают своих детей стройными, без каких-либо внешних телесных дефектов, что демонстрирует нереалистичность их представлений о теле своего ребенка и непринятие тела ребенка. | ru_RU |
